SUNY Ulster offers two courses on drone use

STONE RIDGE, N.Y. >> SUNY Ulster is offering two new courses on drone use on the Stone Ridge campus, teaching skills needed to pilot drones and small unmanned aircraft and access job opportunities.

 

 The 12-hour Intro to sUAS/Learn to Fly runs Saturdays, March 25 and April 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The course fee is $995. It teaches business and hobby pilots to fly safely and legally, understand new job and business models, and get the most out of their drones. The course fee includes a quadcopter with a camera, a computer flight simulator, and a workbook.
