Vague commercial drone rules pose questions for valley’s real estate agents

The Mediterranean-style, Mission Hills Legacy home with three bedrooms, casita and south-facing pool on a large half-acre lot boasted wide views of the mountains and golf course beyond.

Flying a drone overhead would best show it off.

The video “makes the property look so much better,” said Richard Bartholomew, a HOM Sotheby’s agent in Rancho Mirage. “The drone goes over the golf course and up over the house. You can really get an idea of the golf course.”
