General Dynamics AIS Adds Santient Software to UAS Video System

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems has partnered with Sentient to add automatic target detection features into tactical systems deployed in unmanned aerial systems.

GDAIS’ TAC-MAAS, used to capture and manage full motion video, will now feature Sentient’s Kestrel Land Moving Target Indication and Kestrel Maritime automatic target-detection software, GDAIS said Thursday.

The update TAC-MAAS will work to help analysts convert raw data into actionable intelligence and aim to expedite post-mission forensic video analysis.

Mike Manzo, director of GDAIS’ imagery systems division, said the business unit aims to help operators find targets and extract data from sensors deployed in the field.
